Men's Retreat

So, really, Michael should be posting this, but since that means it might not happen for a long while, I'm doing it.

Michael has become really involved with planning events for the men's ministry at church. He's very good at it and they've had some great turn outs, jealous women and loads of fun.

Here's a few highlights from the 'build-off':

Step 1: build a raft with supplies earned during geo cache.

Step 4: make sure you know which direction the race course is.

Michael and I signed up to be part of our church's dragon boat team this year. Cancer Society hosts dragon boat races as a way to raise money for cancer research.

It was a lot of fun to try something new together.

I'm not going to say a lot about these pics. We are part of an amazing life group, we had them over to wrap up for the summer. It was lots of fun.

Speed World

*this is Esther: Michael planned another event for the men at our church. Indoor go carting. It was a huge success with the best attendance they've had at any event. The first picture is Michael. He created a team event complete with pit stops and prizes.

*again, this is Esther. Michael has joined up with the leadership team of our church's men's ministry. This is one of the first events he was part of planning.
